Territory Manager – Equipment sales representatives are expected to make sales calls on current customers and non-customers. Each salesman has a geographic territory to cover. Pay is part salary and part commission. Commission is structured on both dollar sales and unit sales. Salesmen are expected to use a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to log their calls and quote their sales.
Inside Salesman Used Equipment – Bilingual (Spanish-English) equipment sales and internet marketing position to identify markets and to sell used and rental construction equipment outside our Texas footprint. San Antonio based, pay is part salary and part commission. Digital dexterity and some knowledge of construction a plus.
Parts Counter Rep – Sell parts to walk-in customers. Equipment experience is a plus – many customers do not know part numbers and the Parts Counter Rep will need to assist in finding the correct part. Manuals and online tools will be available to assist.
Field Technician – Field techs are assigned a field truck. Technician is expected to furnish his/her own tools. They are dispatched by the service manager to fix equipment at the customers location.
Shop Technician – Shop techs furnish their own tools. They can expect to work on a variety of equipment, including Aerial and material handling, but predominantly heavy dirt-moving equipment.
Shipping and Receiving – This employee will be in charge of fulfilling parts orders by shipping them to the customer. He/she will also be responsible for receiving shipments and unloading them into the correct location in the warehouse.
Rental Counter Rep – Responsible for making rental contracts with walk-in customers. Various other duties include communication with the rental sales reps and point-of-sale items.
Service Manager – Responsible for managing, dispatching, leading and guiding a team of shop and field technicians. Also responsible for the branch’s service department financial.
Rental Sales Rep – Expected to call on customers and non-customers for the purpose of filling their rental needs. Each salesman has a geographic territory to cover. Pay is part salary and part commission. Commission is structured on both dollar sales and unit sales. Rental salesmen are expected to use a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to log their calls.
CDL Truck Driver – Transports heavy equipment between ASCO’s 22 locations as well as to/from customers. Also expected to brief the customer on safety and maintenance at delivery. CDL is required and heavy equipment experience is a plus.
Product Support Sales Rep – PSSR’s are compensated for quoted service sales, preventative maintenance agreements, total maintenance and repair contracts, and IVES trainings.
Inside Salesman – Responsible for walk-in sales. Each salesman has a geographic territory to cover. Pay is part salary and part commission. Commission is structured on both dollar sales and unit sales. Salesmen are expected to use a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to log their calls and quote their sales.
Rental Technician – Rental techs can expect to see the greatest variety of equipment. Typically the work is less involved than other technician positions: most workorders are making a machine ready for rent or inspecting it upon return.
Parts Manager – Responsible for managing inventory, counter reps, shipping and the parts warehouse. Also responsible for the branch’s parts department financial.
